The Green Mountain Chapter is a non-profit organization dedicated to the education and safety of the public and parties interested in the electrical field. Our parent organization, “The International Association of Electrical Inspectors” is located in Richardson, Texas. Our involvement with helping create opportunities for the apprenticeship students, is a mission that we are very proud of. We are always searching for new ways to recognize the commitment and achievement of these hard working individuals and reward them for the long hours that come with becoming the best in the electrical field.
Our "Northern" course list is ready! Click here for information.

Hurricane Irene has devastated many parts of Vermont. Click here for a very informative article on assessing water damage to electrical wiring and equipment
In keeping with our mission to support electrical education, The Green Mountain Chapter has donated $500 to the Fire Safety Calender contest. Each year, school children compete for the honor of having their artwork displayed on the Vermont Fire Safety calender. We not only contribute money for this but past chapter president Andy Rea once again served as one of the judges. This is a great way to educate children on the importance of fire safety and we are proud to support this event.
At our October meeting we discussed ways to help out victims of hurricane Irene. The executive board voted unanimously to donate $500 to the Vermont Food Bank.
There are many ways to support Vermont flood victims and we are all helping our fellow Vermonters in many different ways. But if you would like to follow us in supporting the Vermont Food Bank, here is a link to make an easy, on-line donation:
